Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Wallingford area. Across Connecticut, 43 of the 112 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 31 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Wallingford area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Suntastic Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Doesn't return calls or emails. I reached out in December and still have not received an email or phone call. 6/24/25 Google didn't remove the review because its not fraudulent and there's proof that I emailed you. Maybe next time just say sorry we missed your email.

I highly recommend Dave Mansulla and Suntastic Solutions. Dave makes solar very easy to understand and he is there every step of the way from initial discussion about solar, design, working with the various vendors and all the way through installation. He has many years of experience in the industry. He even is on the job at the time of installation to make sure everything goes according to plan. Highly recommend Suntastic Solutions for your solar needs!

Dave is one of the most trustworthy and reputable people you could be lucky to do business with. He ensures that the client knows what to expect every step of the way. He is meticulous in preparation, prepared from the initial consultation to the day of installation all the way to the finished product. If you are looking to get solar, Suntastic Solutions is by far the way to go.

Dave is committed to quality and is an open book on any questions you might have on solar. Hughky knowledgeable on this trade being a licensed solar broker.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“to others on the market. Great warranty package as well. In the end highly…”

  • Better Business Bureau

“and researched their records on both Better Business Bureau and other consumer complaint…”

Its website also mentions veteran owned, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
