Each mark is one company we hold in the Daytona Beach area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Empower Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

  We went with Empower because we liked the sales lady Tracy & everything seemed to make sense with the products from Sunpower. Install went well & then downhill from there with customer service. Our backup batteries never really worked properly & we were still getting high FPL bills. We called & emailed & got the run around. Again, we are 1 year out & battery issues over & over again. Multiple emails & phone calls later & still no response. $70k+ paid for something we can't even use. Does anyone know who to call??? Not even Sunpower will return our messages. Anyone else get a lemon???

  Company has gone out of business. Have had numerous issues with the instillation.

  To begin with everything was wonderful with this company. The insulation was great and professional. Then came our power bill. We were told it would be $42 and our panels would be $92 per month. Our power bill is more than it was at the same time last year without solar plus we are paying for the panels. Sales guys blames Georgia Power and told someone we referred to the company that we chose the wrong panels. We didn’t choose the panels they did. They are supposed to be working on the issue, I guess time will tell. In the meantime I can’t recommend them.

  The physical equipment is rusting after a year. Empower says it’s not covered by SunPower.

  I want to say that I was not a fan of all the solar companies that were calling me and trying to sale me something they could not truly back. I reached out to Empower and from the start they explained everything in detail of how the process work and answered all the hard questions I had. I was very impressed with their backing and how professional they were. The process went the way they said and the Engineer was very detailed as well. They also paid for my loan until my solar system was turned on. Since I had my system everything has been great and Empower has been doing a great job monitorin

  They did a great job installing the system. Service was great for a while, then started to slack off. Have a problem with battery not storing energy. Found out the place is out of business as of June! Have to wait for Sunpower to replace dealer to get problem fixed.

  Panels do exactly as they claimed. Excellent service. I am producing more electric than I use.
