Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in the Daytona Beach area. Across Florida, 240 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Daytona Beach area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Diamond Solar LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

They give u solar n tell u one price n it becomes another,n never call u or give u maintenance for them at all. So people never use these people for nothing

My experience with Diamond Solar has been less than what is expected. We began this journey July 17th 2024, and as of October 17th solar has not been installed. We made an initial down payment of over 18K. I have spoken with them several times and they have the same excuse, "we are waiting on a permit for our county." Can it be possible for a permit to take 3 months?

Colby is a guy who understands that the vacuum of all the solar companies before his created a huge void in service maintenence and warranties. Diamond Solar filled it. They are a life saver.

The most consistent and considerate company around. You’re getting quality when you do business with Rashad. 100 percent guaranteed.

  • 5★ · around January 2026

I enjoyed working with Colby and his team very much. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. This was a hard company to find, one willing to do a combination of some DIY along with professional electrical and installation services. Add to that they even applied a reflective roof sealant to help increase bifacial output. A true one-stop shop, and all done well at very reasonable prices, completed on-time and as-agreed.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
