  Energy Plus Solar — and specifically Eric Wedell — has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. He personally installed my panels which caused a roof leak that resulted in both roof and ceiling damage. I notified Eric, and while he came out to stop the leak, he completely failed to repair the damage he caused. Months later, the damage is still unresolved. The excuses, lack of follow-through, and poor communication are unacceptable. This company does not take responsibility for the problems they create.   I have a new build home that is undern2 years old. I live in California and solar is a requirement for all new homes. My builder uses Sunpower for their solar panels so I bought through sunpower because that was the only option given to me. My solar panels are under 2 years old. I bought them , not leased. My panels have not been working for idk how long now. I've been paying for my full electricity bill because my panels are not properly functioning.   Once the project is installed it is impossible to get a hold of anyone. Now my $30k++ whole system is not working. Do not use energy plus solar, go with a company that has good customer service. I even over heard the owner Eric telling is employees that he did not care if they drop my new equipment while putting it in. If you want it done right and want good customer service go with someone else. Trust me energy plus solar is not worth the money!!

  Most of the problem is miscommunication. The web site is out of date and sunpower does not have the updated information on address and phone no. Once I had the correct number things got sorted out.

  We purchased our solar panel system and two batteries from Energy plus solar last year and everything is still working phenomenally. Eric walked us through every step and made sure we had a system that adequately powered our home. No more energy bills from SCE and an affordable monthly payment with financing through a state program (GoGreen) that Eric helped secure for us. We did encounter some inconveniences with our GoGreen lender, where they were being a little difficult and slowing down the processing of our loan. Eric called their supervisor directly and immediately look care of the issue

  Eric and his team were wonderful. Very professional and reliable. They followed through every step of the way. They even dealt with LADWP for me. Too bad I can't give them 6 stars :)

  Great experience from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Installation was clean and completed on time, and everything was explained clearly before they left. The system is working great and already helping lower my electric bill. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering going solar!

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
