We live in Gainesville, FL and are on Gainesville Regional Utilities. We were working on getting solar panels around the time GRU was lowering the limited coverage. Our paperwork was done and submitted to EnLight Energy before the April 2024 deadline. Fast forward. We start getting our electric bills, they were lower, so we didn't think to much about it. After a few months with the same price, much more than we estimated, we questioned it. We got ahold of GRU we discovered EnLight Energey FAILED to submit by the deadline even though they PROMISED us it was submitted in time. We contacted EnLig

Run far away from this company. The owner Julio refuses to return a very sizable six figure deposit towards our project when the only work claimed to be completed is engineering. Numerous requests have been made for the engineering documents and all we get is the run around.

Installed a system on my roof last year. Had a lot of problems with leaky roof and took them 6 months to fix it. And the installers they sent over smelled like marijuana and looked high. Glossy eyes and when I asked them they lied and laughed at me. Completely disrespectful to me.

I was replacing my roof and needed my solar panels removed and replaced. They not only did this but also relocated them to the west side, more sun, less trees. All for less than another company's estimate. Great people, great company. Highly recommend.

Alex Black is awesome to deal with. Really makes you feel like family. Can't ask for more from a company. The only solar company I trust.

I had some doubts about whether solar would actually make a difference for my household, but this company provided realistic expectations. They explained that results would vary depending on usage and weather, which felt honest. Installation was done carefully, and they paid attention to small details like panel positioning. The team was polite and answered questions even during the installation process. It’s been a few months, and I’m starting to see consistent savings. It’s not just about money either—it feels good knowing I’m using a cleaner energy source.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
