Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 307 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 231 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

When you see their questionnaire that was emailed to me asking questions about circuit breaker panels, locations, digging requirements, etc be prepared to hire an electrician to answer all the technical questions. It’s ridiculous

The engineering initially seemed adequate, but it took a full year after installation to get the system working properly. The primary issue was communication failures between the batteries and controllers, which the manufacturer eventually resolved by adding specialized comm extenders. More concerning was the poor load distribution design. Because I have two 200-amp services, they simply installed two separate systems and assumed the loads would be balanced. They were not. One system handles five AC compressors plus all pool equipment, while the other has only two AC compressors — a significan

Be aware that PPM's warranty does not include labor charges. My 15 month old system had an Enphase micro inverter go bad and I was charged $250 to replace it despite it being under warranty. It never occurred to me when interviewing solar contractors to ask if warranty claims included labor.

Sales will overestimate solar production without taking proper variables into account. The panels are under warranty, but the power the system generates is not. They say the system will generate more than what it actually will and they are under no obligation to meet or exceed that goal with installation. Our system works but only generates 83% of what was advertised. Representative was unhelpful. Stated that the reason we weren't producing enough energy was because the sales guy did not take "shading" into account. We removed most of the "shading" after the proposal hoping for even better out

We upgraded from an older system and our new system with battery backup is awesome. PPM did a great job communicating with us during the process and has been responsive after the install. I would absolutely recommend. Update: Great experience with PPM for a recent warranty service call on our solar setup and Powerwall 3. We ran into a few weather delays and had to wait on parts, but they stayed on top of communication the whole way through and got everything working perfectly. Appreciate the solid service and follow-through

We went with ppm solar from the reviews and comments by other buyers and after meeting with the rep. The process was great. We got our panels up and battery installed, then we waited for FPL to change our meter. That took a few weeks. Solar worked for one day then nothing. FPL did their job and we tried turning the system on, and nothing. Had a service team come out several days later and it seems we need a new Tesla battery which could take a week or two to get installed. Really? You drove over an hour to our home to look at our system and tell us we need a new battery and you don’t have one

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
