Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Philadelphia area. Across Pennsylvania, 67 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 107 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I called them to see if they can see me. He asked me do I live and The guy on the phone started to laugh and no we don’t work in your area. How rude to laugh.

I am frustrated with our system. We have 54 panels, 2 inverters, and 2 LG backup battery. For the past 2 years, I’ve have had nothing but issues during the month March - Sept. I’ve had issue with the inverters breaking down, either one of them or both during those month. Each time they break down I have to wait 1 to 2 weeks for a technician to come out and sometimes addition days/weeks for parts replacement. I have suffered massive production loss during high production months for 2 years. I’ve been patient and accepting of the circumstances. As I’m writing this, both of my inverters are down

Was looking to expand our existing solar+battery system and Exact Solar was able to come up with a workable solution. Communication was excellent from sales, engineering, and to installation. Although the wait for installation seemed long (due to supply chain), the actually installation was efficient. The installation team provided frequent progress reports, kept the work area tidy resulting in a clean looking system. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for home solar.

These guys did a great job from quoting all the way to the end. They’re responsive and conscientious and did everything they said they would do and more.

My home installation by Exact Solar went flawlessly. They performed both site assessment and installation visits quickly and right on time. My sales engineer, Mike Lehane, provided lots of details on site requirements, installation, installation costs and long-term recovery of my costs through power sales and incentives from government sources and my utility. Mike also listened to my concerns and modified the design of my installation to facilitate solar expansion in future years as I purchase a heat pump and electric car. Thanks to unexpected responsiveness by my utility, our solar panels wer

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“total cost, equipment, warranty and planning). Josh, Vinny, Joe,…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Angi. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
