Its one and two star share is 4 points below the typical installer in Miami. Across Florida, 371 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Miami whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. GC Solar and Electric is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

After speaking with over 20 solar companies, GC Solar & Electric stood out immediately. The owner, Rafio, personally spent over an hour on the phone with me answering every single question I had. No rushing, no pressure. Just real education. Most other companies would not even stay on the phone for five minutes. They are licensed, insured, experienced, and extremely transparent. The installation process was smooth, I am saving about 250 dollars a month with zero down, and their follow up after completion showed they genuinely care. I have already lined them up for my mom’s house, my dad’s hous

I reached out to them to do some electrical work for my house and I’m so glad I went with this company. They’re very professional and they explained in detail the work they were doing, and also providing alternatives. Their expertise and service is unmatched. They’re reasonably priced. Highly recommend. I’m very satisfied with their work.

I used GC Solar to install an EV Charger at home for my new Electric vehicle, it was recommended to my by a good friend and honestly I can't thank him enough. GC Solar saved me to sign a 10 years contract just to get my free EV charger (that comes with the vehicle) installed. they took care of everything!!! the service, the timing, instructions and explanations were just above and beyond, Genesis herself took the time to supervise every detail. Couldn't be happier. Thank you GC Solar and Thank you Genesis.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“for $0 money down 25year- Solar Panel Warranty *Please see further Disclosures &…”

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate, 24/7 availability, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi, the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
