Its one and two star share is 11 points above the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 150 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 60 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We bought system from them in 2017 from Avalon Park Office, 32828. First Two Years Inventor gone bad and only way we found out due to electric bill following month. This is old story. we had agreement one time panel removal for future roof replacement. They came and removed panels in March 2025. Roofer came and told us that brackets and stands need to be removed for roof work to be done other wise it is orange county code violation. Goldin solar told us to find roofer who can work around brackets. They refused to remove brackets and stands and they want to charges more than $ 10000 for bracket

Had a Tesla Solar roof installed and it’s finally working so not sure who to blame either them or Tesla but now trying to have an issue addressed and they seem to be MIA to wrap up a couple of outstanding issues to include a roof leak. Tesla states that they are “certified” but who knows. Next call will be BBB to file a formal complaint and then an attorney of don’t hear back. Can say they techs they have had at working at our home have been great… the rest who knows.

We have paid Goldin for our Tesla roof, it is not operating and never has. We keep call, emailing, with zero response as to when they will get it up and running. Not happy at all.

I wanted to express my gratitude for the exceptional service experience. Michael, thank you for accommodating my last-minute scheduling request. I must commend service technician Ariel for an outstanding job. Ariel demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and addressed all my questions, instilling confidence that the issue would be resolved. Well done to each one of you! If it were possible to award more than 5 stars in this review, I certainly would (though 5 is the maximum). My system is operational, and I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you, Goldin Solar!

Joseph and Nate, installers from Goldin Solar did a great job. They carefully installed the hardware, cleaned up, made sure we had connection with solar panels. Took them two days but they worked for hours. The weather was good, so they returned the day after to complete the job.We had lots of panels that needed installing. Made sure not to drill uncessary holes. Professional, respectful, and on time

Good communication when there is an issue, problems reported on their website take a few days then they’re on top. They recently came out to fix a wiring issue and waived the fee. Very appreciated.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“of your energy future. Flexible financing options make it easy to transition to solar…”

  • Years in business

“from Ohio University. With over 10 years of experience in residential and…”

Its website also mentions established and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor and ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
