Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Woodland Hills area. Across California, 692 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 38 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Woodland Hills area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Imperium Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

UPDATE: There is NO excuse for installing used unwarrantied 2011 panels on our roof. I challenge the company to come up with one. We threw away money and now are in litigation to get it back. Not only are their yelp and google reviews ALL fake (yes, I emailed all 118 five star reviews to ask about their experience and ZERO replied), but I believe they also found my own business online and wrote a fake negative review for me. This company essentially stole $22,000 from us and installed UNWARANTIED USED 2011 COMMERCIAL PANELS on our roof rather than the required residential panels. The permit ha

Praise Be To The Emperor, My Battleship was refueled with this energy company!

I had a smooth experience with Imperium... They helped out my grandma with both roofing and solar. They were the only company who were not trying to take advantage of her. Great service, great rates, friendly guys. They were also super quick.

I had an excellent experience dealing with imperium energy. They replaced my complete roof and added solar panels with an upgraded 200amp electrical panel. The person I dealt with was Shawn. He was very responsive returning every call, text, or email through the entire process. There was never any pressure during the entire process and he took care of everything from the design to the permits and finally the work and final inspection. He will also give you addresses of previous jobs so that you can see their quality of work. It was so nice to see my last 2 electric bills as -22 dollars. Now du

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Family owned

“a mission... Imperium Energy is a family-owned construction firm that provides the…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi and HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
