Its one and two star share is 40 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 80 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This has been a horrible experience that still isn’t over yet. The lack of communication and ownership of mistakes is mind-boggling. My house install started more than a month ago, the team brought different plans than we agreed on (but similar enough, ok…), they didn’t finish the job in a single day because it was a new system for these particular installers, we had to wait a month for day 2, it STILL isn’t completely done, the installers forgot to take pictures after (not) finishing so we are just sitting here for weeks now waiting for someone to take responsibility and do whatever needs to

On top pf the NON working number they have listed. We were told they would come out in 3 days if anything malfunctioned. It's been 8 months and no one has come. We also have no working panels that don't work!

Sales quit responding after the installation was paid for, so cannot correct installation error. Frustrating. But system eventually went on line and seems good enough.

My installers: Jose Casas ,Miguel Casas and Jesús Alvarado did a wonderful job installing my panels. Great guys to work with!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
