It seemed like a major bait and switch scam. Rep told us we only need 1 battery after inspecting our panels. When I told him I was comparing to other solar providers he said “keep in mind that I will take down two trees for free”. After signing, he called to tell me I need a second battery ($8k) and I would need to pay half of the tree removal (another $8k for half) so the system would cost me 50% more than we discussed. Very disappointed - I shouldn’t have listened to these reviews. The tactic is unethical and surprising I. This highly regulated business.

We chose Infinity after extensive research and consultation because of their strong reputation in residential solar systems. As architects and designers, we carefully vet the companies and products we work with, which makes our experience with Infinity especially disappointing. Our solar and battery system was designed to fully power our all-electric home in rural New York. However, since installation, we have faced repeated and ongoing problems. Infinity has acknowledged that the original proposal and system engineering were flawed, which led to multiple shutdowns caused by undersized breaker

Extremely Delayed PTO: I regret choosing Infinity Energy for my solar installation. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating due to repeated delays and zero accountability. Here’s my exact timeline: Welcome kit received: 9/15/2025 Solar panels installed: 12/5/2025 First city inspection: 2/2/2026 – Failed Fix completed: 3/10/2026 Despite the fix being made more than three weeks ago, I’m still waiting for the next tangible update. Their own proposed timeline for obtaining PTO from the electric provider was 3 weeks, and at this rate, it looks like it could drag well into summer conside

After several logistical issues that delayed our installation, the very professional and knowledgeable team of "solar" techs did a fantastic job of getting our solar up and running. Eric K, Steve S and Rob S went the extra mile and overcame the heat and technical issues to finally get us up and running. The crew was able to answer all my concerns and questions before i had to ask. VERY Knowledgeable! Thanks guys .

We have been extremely happy with our experience working with Infinity Energy. Our solar system has performed great, and we've been very pleased with the monthly energy savings we're seeing. The entire process was handled professionally from start to finish. Their customer service is outstanding. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, and communication throughout the project was clear, consistent, and proactive. It's refreshing to work with a company that keeps you informed every step of the way! We have recommended, and will continue to recommend, Infinity to our friends an

The worse still waiting after they got their payment to have solar hooked up. One excuse after another. Called my power company and they said still waiting on interconnection paperwork over 8 weeks now. Call my salesman Ray and Valerie little or no help. We will get back to you tomorrow never got back to me. What a waste of time and money. Installing the panels was great good crew. Electrical crew great. Company very bad I need someone from the company who knows what they are doing to contact me. You have my number. I would not recommend this solar company because of their office. Just the wor

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“With solar tax credits, $0-down financing options, and A+ warranties, you can greatly…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, family owned, established and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under windows.
  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
