Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Palm Desert. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We live in IID (Imperial Irrigation District) and our house uses a lot of electricity including high air conditioner usage in the summer time and two EVs'. We had an existing solar system with no batteries and felt like our panels were not producing correctly. The previous system was installed by another company that was a nightmare to work with. I wanted to work with a company local to the Coachella Valley and feel like they were going to be around for the long term. I hired JJ Energy to add Two Tesla Powerwall 3's with Full Home Backup to my existing solar system and added a Tesla Wall Conne

Was looking to add a battery to our SunPower 4.9kW solar system. Talked w/ a bunch of companies and ended up going w/ JJ Energy Solar & Electrical to install a Powerwall 3 and so glad we did. Chad was great speaking about the available options & provided us an excellent rationale for what adding the battery could offer us. He subsequently was the point of contact throughout the project and responded quickly to all questions. Owner Jordan came by before the work started to speak about the scope of the project and optimal placement of the battery in the garage. The installation team of Oscar, Ch

Top-notch company! They truly surpassed all my expectations. It was something like 3 weeks from the first appointment to the final inspection for a main electrical panel upgrade. No time was wasted at all obtaining city permits and coordinating with edison. The whole team was very professional, polite and incredibly knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and communicated efficiently along the whole way. This is a true professional company that without a doubt cares about there product. Thank you for taking care of me JJ energy

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licensed

“in Coachella, CA? Look for a licensed, insured, and experienced company…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
