Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Palm Desert. Across California, 708 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 91 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Palm Desert whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SolarInstinct SolarCare is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

ZERO STARS! Avoid at all costs! I hired "Solar Instinct" (and yes, that's what Nathan actually called himself, should have been my first red flag) last month, hoping to get my panels ready for the summer sun. What a disaster! When Nathan started the "cleaning", he blasted my panels with what I can only assume was unfiltered tap water, leaving behind a delightful array of hard water spots that are now practically baked onto the glass thanks to the Palm Desert sun. My panels actually look worse than before he started – it's like he just smeared the dirt around and added a fresh layer of mineral

I hired Nathan for my windows and solar panels cleaning, thinking I was finally going to get rid of all that desert dust. Well, surprise! He showed up and then BAM! When I paid him $200, I got hit with "Oh, so the price went up." (up from $150 last year with no warning, please see the screenshot with the date!), and Nathan left half my windows dirty because it "wasn't enough $." No heads-up, no text msg or phone call, no nothing regarding the price increase. Seriously? So, naturally, I wasn't thrilled about the surprise price hike. That's why I gave him two hundred instead of one hundred fifty

Super solid group of guys. Needed my solar panels maintenance and he went above and beyond. Super solid dude

Showed up on time. Fare rate $. Photos before and after. Cleaned and shiny panels.

Nate does great work. He shows up on time and scheduled and works very efficiently and conscientiously, taking great care not to crack any of our old fashioned tiles.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Palm Desert is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
