Kane Solar came through for us when the bigger companies couldn't. They installed and activated 22 new panels on our roof in the time frame we wanted. Cheikh kept us well informed during the whole process, and everything went smoothly. Kane Solar is a real gem, owned and operated locally in Silver Spring!

Kane solar was a life-saver when 2 of my solar panels stopped working and I couldn’t find anyone to repair them. Sheikh came out and told me that we had a squirrel problem. He explained that squirrels had built several nests under the panels and has chewed several wires. I would need to have them repaired and build squirrel guards as the house is surrounded by tall maple trees in which squirrels live. He made the repairs and set up squirrel guards and the panels are working perfectly and the squirrels are very upset! Thanks Sheikh for being a competent professional!

Kane solar is a great company to work with. They developed a custom solution to add on to our existing solar system when other companies would not. They accommodated our specific requests for US made solar panels and exercises personal care to work through permitting through the county very quickly. They even worked through a warranty issue we were having on a piece of the equipment from the previous installation. Cannot recommend Kane Solar highly enough!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Years in business

“in 2020, we bring together over 20 years of collective expertise in the solar…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp and HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
