Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

When AI recommends you call Vahan at Metric Solar, you listen. Vahan was so professional in our telephone conversation, guided me as to what would best meet our solar power needs, and came through as needed. He was courteous, helpful and friendly. Thank you for your service Vahan!

I had a great experience working with this solar panel company from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions throughout the process. They explained my options clearly and helped me choose a system that fit my energy needs and budget. The installation was completed on schedule, and the crew was respectful, efficient, and left everything clean when the job was finished. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and I always felt informed about the next steps.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Warranty
“American-made panels with a 25-year warranty. I thought that was a great touch, as…”
Free estimate
“You don't have to waste 3 weeks for a free quote. I'm very happy with this company and…”
Family owned
“If you want to use a company that is family owned and won't screw you over, just give…”

Its website also mentions licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

It posts on Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
