I informed nautilus that I was moving and needed my account closed in May of this year. They responded via email 5/25/26 confirm confirming account closure. It is now August 18, 2026 and I received a bill showing that my account is not closed. When I finally got a hold of someone from customer service, they explained I can expect to receive bills at my old address for 90 days and back bills for 60 days after because they are two billing cycles behind regardless if I haven’t lived in my old residence since May 2026. I explained that the account should’ve been closed in May and that I receive co

Should of read the reviews, door to door salesman high pressure tactics. Took my phone and manipulated the agreement. You will never talk to them on the phone. Its impossible. Business is extremely shady. Multiple bills to them for reasons I cant get a answer for. No idea how a business like this can be allowed in our community. Id be ashamed to work for them. Maybe they would keep customers if you could understand what the service is, but the agreement is vague, the process is confusing and the QA is non existent. Stay away. STAY AWAY!

Sales person 100% misrepresented what I was signing up for & calling customer service was horrible. In July of 2025 a man came to my door saying he was with Xcel & basically that if I signed up, I’d be saving money on my Xcel. THAT’S IT. He did not say I’d be paying any additional fees, just simply that I’m signing up to receive solar energy & I’ll save money. He said it was a maybe basically that it may or may not come to my area. Well surprise June 2026 it came to my area & come July 2026 my card that I never gave them?? Was charged $305!!! I called immediately & the lady on the phone basica

Seems like a great deal, right? Keep in mind, if they overproduce, you pay. The extra unused generation goes to a bank on your cmp account (in Maine) that can be used in the event the solar under produces, however the banked kwh's expire after they're a year old which means you will have paid for electricity you never used. BEWARE! Ive been burned before! So far Nautilus has done great for me as far as not overproducing alot of electricity but will need to keep an eye on those banked kwh compared to what I typically use per month.

My experience with Nautilus Solar has been very smooth so far. Working with Excel Energy (Minnesota) to link Nautilus to my account was easy, and it feels great to know that a known portion of my electrical consumption is being fulfilled by solar generation.

Very happy with the service we are receiving from Nautilus Solar. Wish we could buy more shares of the field to improve our savings potential.

The invoicing can be confusing to be sure, but it's a good cause and the savings are there if you have foresight to invest in renewables now!

- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
