Its one and two star share is 4 points below the typical installer in the Elmhurst area. Across Illinois, 52 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Elmhurst area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Tesla Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Tesla after installing my solar and powerwall. Consistently failed to show up for the inspection with lake county. They would schedule an inspection and then not show up when it's scheduled. My solar panels were installed beginning of November and the inspection still hasn't been done yet. It's currently middle of December. They don't respond to calls or emails and seem to not care once they put the panels on. I guess they run a pretty shoddy business to try and avoid getting the inspection done

The staff explained the solar installation process clearly before starting. They showed me diagrams of how the racking would be attached to the rafters, which helped me feel confident. The installation itself was completed in two days without issue. The inverter placement was well thought out, and the wiring was tidy. The crew tested everything in front of me before leaving. The production has been steady so far.

Tesla Solar installed my solar array last season. they handled city permits, worked safely, and kept the site organized. the finished look is clean and my system is already reducing costs.

The staff installed our solar panels and battery backup during a very busy season, but they still managed communication well. We live in an area with frequent afternoon storms, so reliability mattered more to us than appearance alone. They walked through expected solar production levels, explained net metering credits, and outlined how the inverter would perform during outages. The installers worked carefully around our garden beds and kept the property tidy every evening. One thing I appreciated was how patient they were with permit updates because our county approval process moved slower tha

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
