Its one and two star share is 20 points above the typical installer in the Elmhurst area. Across Illinois, 15 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Elmhurst area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★50%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Elmhurst area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Sunrise Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY or the people they hire. Horrible customer service and rude employees. Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy!

This company is the absolute worst. They acted like customer concerns were an inconvenience instead of trying to help. If you're looking for a reliable company consider using anyone else, you will be very disappointed if you chose to go with Sunrise Solar Solutions.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable solar services. FYI: Not intended for another company. This was definitely intended for Sunrise Solar Solutions in St. Charles, IL

Big appreciation to Sunrise for a job well done and a special shoutout to Rami for making it all easy to understand.

I recently had a fantastic experience with Sunrise Solar Solutions. They were absolutely great at returning my calls promptly, which is a huge plus these days. I was having trouble with my SolarEdge inverter not establishing connectivity, and they were incredibly helpful with troubleshooting the problem. When we couldn't resolve it remotely, they efficiently scheduled a technician to come out. Throughout the entire process, they were friendly, informative, and professional. I highly recommend them!

Great office staff, polite and informative.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“the cost of your system as well as financing options to help make solar for you…”

  • Years in business

“your home solar system will produce over 15 years depends on several factors that…”

  • Insured

“can be connected, our licensed and insured electricians can assess your needs…”

  • Licensed

“a solar array can be connected, our licensed and insured electricians can assess…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
