Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Wilmington area. Across Delaware, 13 of the 18 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 32 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

After having a promising initial phone call with Davis we set up a follow-up so he can provide me with specific information for my installation options. This is a fairly big residential project. I got an email reminder and then a text reminder. I signed on for the call and was the only one on it. I was able to chase Davis down and he apologized, said the proposal wasn't ready, so we set up a new meeting although I was annoyed no one called me. It was sort of funny that the morning after the aborted call I got a robo-email thanking me for the chance to go over the proposal with Davis the day be

Felt like solar was good decision going into it and looking back feels even better. Davis helped designing and explaining a solution that almost a year later still seems like a perfect business decision. Great return and exceeded expectations. Had other solar company’s solicit and try to beat what was quoted by Davis. Them admitting his package was a good deal did nothing but solidify the decision more.

Super professional, affordable, and honest with all the available options. Moreover, they explained the solar system functionality so well to my lay-person brain that I can competently explain it to other lay-people. 5 stars all day for price, the technical knowledge of the sales person, knowledge of state and federal programs that make solar affordable, open disscussion of pros and cons. Truly, they are the best. Hands down.

Working with Davis from New Earth Solar has been a breath of fresh air. He's incredibly kind, transparent, and you can tell he truly has his clients best interests at heart. His genuine passion for making a positive impact really shines through. It's rare to find a solar consultant who operates with such integrity and purpose. I highly recommend talking to Davis if you're considering solar!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“Home Energy Auditing in 2016. He has over 13 years experience understanding the green…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
