Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Wilmington. Across Delaware, 16 of the 18 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 60 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

The initial zoom call and the process leading up to the install was great! No pressure tactics, out of every company I talked to they were my top choice, Kurt,Justin, Mike, and Brian were very informative and helpful. The install went quick and smooth, but communication throughout the project was poor. The subcontractors “SunSol” did a good job installing the panels, but I found a bunch of screws and trash in my yard afterwards. Their electrical work was below average, and showed poor craftsmanship. They were late on the day of inspection causing a reschedule, and then failed the rescheduled i

Great experience from beginning to end. I did a lot of research and compared many different companies. Jay was able to beat all the competing quotes and was responsive through the entire process. He explained the options and offered me to show me his personal solar setup as he lives nearby. The portal they used housed all the relevant documents and clearly outlined the next steps and timelines. Install was quick and Zenergy took care of all permits and approvals. System is up and running and works well!

Working with Kurt for my solar panels was a great experience. He was extremely accommodating to my chaotic work/sleep schedule, always making himself available at literally any time of day/night that worked for me.. he is very knowledgeable and straight to the point. his ability to move so quickly/efficiently in making sure everything was handled on time before the tax credit deadline was incredible. I highly recommend Kurt and Zenergy Solar to anyone considering going solar.

Been a great experience so far. Honest, to the point, and very high quality American made products and install teams.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“quotes in most cases Multiple financing options Workmanship + product warranties 24/7…”

  • Warranty

“warmer winters, cooler summers. Guaranteed. Why Zenergy We don't just sell…”

  • Free estimate

“or reliability. How we work — from free quote to power-on A clear, no-surprises…”

  • 24/7 availability

“Workmanship + product warranties 24/7 system monitoring Local crews you can…”

  • Years in business

“to your home. Our leadership brings over 15 years of combined experience installing…”

Its website also mentions established, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
