Origin Solar, Roofing, and Generators

Each mark is one company we hold in the St Petersburg area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Origin Solar, Roofing, and Generators is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We leased our Solar panels from this company We were told our panels would be maintained by Palmetto Solar. Before even a year was up the panels failed. We contacted Palmetto solar and given a service date a month out. A MONTH. I contacted Solar Roof and Generator the seller and installer. They advised they would contact Palmetto and see if they could repair it for us and would call in a couple of days. No call. PALMETTO CAME OUT TWICE after a month of waiting. I asked why so long for service and was told they only have one service tech for all of Florida. They could not find the problem.REALL

I have had the pleasure of working with Eli and his team from origin solar. They have been nothing but amazing people to work with. I work as the director of operations for a roofing company, so when we need solar R&R we need it in a timely and professional manner. They have exceeded my expectations every time we have requested them. If you need a Solar company that is trustworthy, have high quality customer service, and craftsman ship than Origin Solar is your company!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“which one fits your loads. What financing options do you offer? We work with lenders…”

• Warranty

“never see is the work that keeps the warranty intact. 100% Flashed & sealed to…”

Its website also mentions insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
