Its one and two star share is 10 points above the typical installer in the St Petersburg area. Across Florida, 164 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 32 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the St Petersburg area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in the St Petersburg area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. ESD Roofing - Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

WORST COMPANY!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Had roof and solar panels installed by these low-level con artists. Roof leaks in several areas and can't reach anyone but only time I did was rude female said someone would come next day. No one came or …

My parents were constantly harassed by this company until they finally agreed to use them for a job since they were RELENTLESS on how horrible their roof was and needed redone. They ended up doing a horrible job. The roof is leaky. They promise to use insurance to cover but after they charge the full thing to my parents. They weren’t unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – DEALERS BEWARE It took this company 7 months to install a single job, which is completely unacceptable. Because of their delays, the loan documents expired, forcing a redraw. I was told they would handle it—but instead, they used that situation as an excuse to take my entire commission. This is not how you treat partners or dealers. On top of that, dealing with Jared was extremely disappointing. What was presented upfront did not match reality at all. If you’re a dealer or considering working with this company, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. This experience

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“solar and roofing systems for over 11 years. We've grown into one of the most…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
