Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 270 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Had a solar system installed in December, as of February it has yet to be activated. You need to find a company that will complete the project, because this is not the one. Jacob has been very helpful in this situation. It turns out that the issue is with Xcel energy. The system was submitted to Xcel and no action has been taken on their part. I apologize for the miscommunication. Bruce Bruce

I had been thinking about solar for a long time but kept postponing because I wasn’t sure about the real-world savings. This company helped clear that confusion by showing a breakdown based on my actual monthly usage. They didn’t exaggerate numbers, which made the discussion feel more realistic. Installation took a few days, and the team worked carefully while explaining what they were doing. There was a small delay in final grid approval, but they handled it properly. Now that it’s running, I can see a steady drop in my electricity bills over time.

Our solar panel was expertly installed by Panhandle Solar Consultants! My request for an estimate was answered within a few hours, and the following week they accommodated us, tearing out our solar panel system and replacing it entirely in a single day. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy, and we are extremely happy with their service. Thank you very much for facilitating a smooth procedure!

Great Guy, he gave me some great info on how Xcel opporated and gave a good rundown. Its a breath of fresh air being new to town!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
