We live on a farm and have plenty of space, so we asked for the panels to be installed in a field next to the house rather than on the roof. The annual output was calculated to match our annual use. We did not install battery back-up. The work was done by Paradise to the highest standards, and the people who did the work were an absolute pleasure to work with. The system went on-line in mid December. Just in time to

We looked at 3 different installers and they were the best. Both on system provided and cost(remember to account for the money for your solar credits. Some companies include them by default, in the cost.). They were great over the phone and in person. We got a system that fit our needs. Knew it was cutting it close to get the project installed by eoy for the tax credits BUT after talking with solar consultant Brian Foltz and getting the initial proposal felt reasonably sure ( more than 90% certain ,lol,) Paradise Energy Solutions could get it done. AND THEY DID!!! Jordan Quin drew the short straw and as pm had to deal with all my questions, which he did with patience an

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
