Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I am very very happy that I have chosen RCSOL company to upgrade my solar system with 10 more additional solar panels and with TESLA battery .Now I don't need any costly power from local Edison .It also helps me to have steady power during any power shortages. The father and son team of the RCSOL company is very professional and also very friendly team that can handle any part of the solar installation or its upgrades for a very favorable price.I recommend very highly the RCSOL company to anybody who is thinking about getting solar power for installation and or for its upgrade.

RCSOL did a perfect job installing my solar system. They made sure that the connection to the roof did not disturb the roof material. I was told exactly how and where the panels would be placed and why. I was given a complete diagram of the plan. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Since the initial installation, RCSOL has made sure the Panels are maintained and clean. I also have received information regarding further options, like a battery to assure that I always have power. I have every confidence in RCSOL and the efficient crew as well. BARBARA JOUETT

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licensed

“homes and businesses. We are fully licensed and certified installers for all the…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Goleta is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
