    You ever want a robot who doesn't care about you or your needs to do a very expensive solar installation for you, taking a 1 month install and making it into a multi year project? In that case, Tesla solar is there for you! They'll never provide a phone number so you can talk to someone, and when you do talk to someone, they'll have no knowledge of how the systems work, and be unable to resolve any of your problems. The installations always take far longer than they should, and when your roof needs modifications in order to support the solar installation, which they won't tell you about after

    I had these guys do a roof solar installation with a string inverter. They explained how the wiring strings would be grouped and why that worked best for my roof layout. The work itself was done efficiently, with scaffolding removed the same day. The final inspection passed smoothly, and the system was online within a week. Production matches the numbers they presented in the estimate, which shows they did their homework in the design stage.
