Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Santa Barbara. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Santa Barbara whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Sunrise 805 is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around June 2026 · the company replied

The team at Sunrise 805 made everything easy and seamless from start to finish. They provided a reasonable cost, installed within a day, and walked us through the app, working with Southern CA Edison, and set up our batteries to keep us "off-grid" as much as possible. Special thanks to Cody and Marshall for the tremendous service - highly recommend you hire Sunrise 805!

Cody and his team were quick and efficient. The project ran smoothy from start to finish: from the bidding process, to coordinating with the roofer installing a new roof, to installation of the panels and battery, to inspection and commission. I felt like I was in very good hands the entire time. My system has been running well. I'm very happy to be running on sunshine, thanks to Sunrise 805.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Family owned

“Cleaning Sunrise 805 is a local, family-owned business serving the Central Coast.”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
