Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in Ontario. Across California, 285 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.
The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 579 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.
Every company we hold in Ontario, on one axis
Each mark is one company we hold in Ontario whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Renogy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

After less than 3 years and several thousands of dollars for an off grid solar set up, 2 of our 4 LiFePO4 failed. Less than a month later, the third and possibly the last battery have now also failed, making our system useless. Not happy with the warranty provided (50% credit), considering the investment and the short lifespan. This is our second Renogy set-up, but we will be taking our money elsewhere in the future. Can not recommend.

Don’t do business with this company. I spent a thousand dollars for an inverter, AGM Battery cables and battery monitor. They ship jobs (their call center) off shore to Asia. They send lbs defective equipment (an AGM battery) then make you jump through hoops to prove it defective, then make you jump through those same hoops to get it replaced. They send FedEx to pick up the defective battery, the next day they verify in an Email that they received the battery back at warehouse, just to have FedEx return the battery back to my house. This morning they sent an email stating the replacement batte

The prices are good, the website is terrible, and the customer service person, Chaniel, was super helpful and polite, and thorough. If I’d been able to get on the phone with him more easily (it’s hard to find a phone number) I’d have spent a pile of money already long ago. The glitchy, incomplete website with its useless AI and live chat help features almost lost me.

I know most people across the different Manufacturers have many Customer service complaints. I came here do be different. first of all I own a toy hauler that I converted to solar using all Renogy products. 80amp mppt 4 panels and a couple batteries with a 3500 watt pure sine inverter. I don't have enough battery but it works ok 6 years in. no problems at all. second I have a lycan 5000 with 4 extra batteries and 4 more panels that I later upgraded to another brand 400 watt bifacial. It is the sole power for my 30x50 barn. table saw planer compressor and constant charge of tool batteries. and

Wow, a lot of bad experiences, sorry to hear that for folks. My experience was the opposite, at least with customer service and their technical expertise. Bought an MPPT solar charge controller. Set it up to test with a lifepo4 battery powering a 12V fridge. Noticed the controller wouldn't start charging even though the panel was in good sun. Unplugging and reconnecting the solar panel and the controller would start charging, but would still often stop charging. Contacted Renogy via email about what I was seeing, with video and pictures of the setup. I had a response within 24 hours. The respo

Fantastic experience with Renogy! They offered the best pricing I found, but the service was just as impressive. The team was responsive, the install was super fast, and the quality of the panels and whole home backup system is excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for great value and fast installation!

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
