Its one and two star share is 13 points above the typical installer in the Yuba City area. Across California, 368 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 16 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Yuba City area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Safe Haven Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We signed the contract at the end of June 2023... took them til January 2024 to actually get all installed with multiple people, multiple visits and multiple problems that were not their fault ( but paperworkfilled out multipletimes incorrectly)....over 2 months of waiting for PG&E to approve the turn on of our solar panels and still not on. Ohhhh yeah did I mention Justin the sales guy called the manager Lee and they promised to have it done in 12 weeks/3 months top! But at the 4 month mark, they claimed to not know about their promises and still have yet to complete our project. Don't make t

We paid the upgrade for an attic installation, but they ran conduit over our brand new roof anyway. Only after we pointed out their mistake did they agree to fix it--leaving holes in our roof in the process. They had to come back multiple times because the attic install was left incomplete--twice. Multiple return visits were required to finish what should have been done properly from the start. On the second repeat visit, the owner, Lee, personally came and discussed the plan with me; but the technician still misrouted the wires through the wrong area--creating a visible and unsightly mess tha

They were notcmy original installation company, the original one had screwed up several times on the install and my son Zac, who sells Solar, called them to come help bail my project out after the screw ups. They found a major issue I would never have known had they not come out to review the installation. The size of the wire that was installed from the panel location to my house was way undersized for the distance it had to run. Had I let the other company complete the project, I would not have been getting the amount of electricity I needed to run the house and had huge true-ups that would

Lee and Tim at Safe Haven Solar took the time as a courtesy to get my existing Solar system hooked up to the Solar Edge monitoring platform. Tim also used my approved solar layout plans to add the panel layout to my monitoring platform to allow me to see the performance of each panel. I want to thank and recognize the company’s dedication for going the extra mile for a consumer. I would highly recommend this customer service dedicated company as your next solar provider.

This company knows solar. They found me the best solar panels for a great price. I do not pay for grid electricity.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • The website on this company's Google listing now resolves to a domain-sale page, so we do not link it. That may mean the company has stopped trading, or only that it let a domain lapse.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
