  Explore other options. These people do not care. Had an appt scheduled and tried calling to confirm, even replied to their text, no reply or answer. The girl that answers the phone really doesn't care if she answers at all or if she doesn't hang up on you. Mind you this is when trying to buy a system, I couldn't imagine what is like during install or forbid there's an issue after install and someone had to get help. Very unprofessional and lack of care to even answer the phone or communicate.

  Westhaven installed a roof and solar system on my home in 2019. The initial timeline presented during the sales process suggested installation would begin within a few weeks, but the project was ultimately delayed several months with limited proactive communication. During installation, rolled roofing was installed on part of the home where asphalt shingles had been specified in the contract. I was not consulted before that material substitution occurred.   Update as of 4/30/26: My Powerwall failed within a year of purchase. This wasn’t Westhaven’s fault, and they did arrange a replacement battery, but there are some costs to be aware of that I was not when I hired the company. Westhaven charges $200 per hour for warranty work, and that rate includes travel time. Because they’re based in Yuba, the visit to confirm the wall did ended up costing me $600 ($200 for an hour of work, $400 for drive time). Unfortunately, I was not told that I would have to cover drive time too and only realized when they sent me the contract about 30 minutes before the
