Its one and two star share is 6 points below the typical installer in Lubbock. Across Texas, 399 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Lubbock whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Smart Energy Solutions LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

So glad I chose Ken and his team to do business with. We are experiencing real savings with this decision. It’s great having peace of mind knowing we are doing our part to fight these high electricity prices. Great job Ken!!

Jonathan has done an excellent job at setting us up with the solar panels. His prices are awesome comparing to other solar companies. His customer service and communication skills are amazing as well. We are very satisfied with our three (3) houses using Smart Energy Solutions and would recommend Jonathan to anyone in a heartbeat.

Ken is the Best🙌 Just had down pour of rain and where I had lots of leaks he repaired with new metal roof. Also he put my solar panels to where they produce enough energy to cover hot tub use and AC on low temp!! LOVE MY PANELS👍👍 Ken goes all out to make things right‼️ …

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • pricing 2
  • solar panel installation 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Lubbock is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
