This company has employees with suspended TDLR for electrical work. People without the knowledge or legal ability to work on your home. I’ve already contacted the owner Scot to inform him of what the employee told me yet he has done nothing about it. Don’t let these people work on your home unless you are comfortable with subpar work.

I had high hopes of getting Solar CenTex to install my new battery after Wells Solar took half of my money then went out of business. I was very pleased when Scott returned my call then gave me a quote and an install date. Problem is they never showed up or called me again. I called them four times and was told Scott would be calling me, I'm still waiting for that call. I even left messages on his cell phone. Solar CenTex is a real disappoint in my book.

I contacted this company to do a solar system inspection for me which they agreed to do. They sent me a quote that I signed and returned as they requested. After many calls to the office to get the inspection completed as agreed to all I get is “ Scott will call you back by the end of the day”. 4 weeks later that call has not come and my system still set’s broken. It’s not good business to agree to do something and then avoid the person/Job. Never did I ask for my insurance claim to be signed off on. My request has always been for an inspection/estimate. A simple returned call is all that was

Called this company asking for price on a service call to help me out with my solar system. The lady that answered the phone asked me my address but said she has to call me back when she has a answer on how much the service call would cost. I’m a local business owner so that was a little concerning that they don’t have a set rate that they use. She called me back 20 min later and said that it would cost 150 an hour to find out what the problem was but that she called the permit office and no permit was pulled on this job so if they do come out it could be up to $5000 to bring it up to code. Great workers polite. Knowledgeable.down to earth people. I would Power refer these guys to any . you can’t go wrong using this company. These guys are real knowledgeable on Solor so give them a call if you need some Solor done. I gave them five stars, but that’s enough. If there was a ten star. I would give to them.

Centex Solar was prompt and prepared to remove and then reinstall my solar panels for the roofers to do repairs underneath. I was impressed by Trinidad (in charge of the group), Josh, Todd, and Michael as they worked as a team to get the job done. Afterward, they made sure my system was working properly and even helped me with the app. Thank you Centex Solar!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Years in business

“Electrician of Solar CenTex. With over 27 years as a master electrician in this…”

Its website also mentions veteran owned, financing, warranty, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
