Its one and two star share is 50 points above the typical installer in Folsom. Across California, 53 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Folsom whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Revolution is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Solar Revolution. While the solar system functions, the company’s failure to follow the plans that were submitted and approved by my HOA has caused ongoing headaches for over 1.5 years. Rather than installing the system as promised, they left conduit and equipment exposed in clear violation of HOA requirements. This forced me to spend additional time and money correcting their mistakes just to bring my property back into compliance. To make matters worse, Solar Revolution has been unresponsive and unwilling to take responsibility for the prob

Don’t do business with is company. This company will make you pay for labor if your system goes down even tho when they sell you your system they make it very clear that if something goes wrong their warranty will cover it. My inverter has gone down twice now costing me thousands in pge. The whole investment in solar was so I don’t have to pay for electric anymore. They refuse to make it right. And when it goes down and you call them for warranty work, they avoid your calls. Horrible company

Solar Revolution did install a solar panels system on our house in EDH. Now we are producing more electricity than the electricity we used even with an EV, Scott and his team did a great job. Very well recommended.

I am in the process of installing my new home and I chose Solar Revolution again as they installed my previous home. The team did a wonderful job and the system ran flawlessly. I have met with Scott (owner) and found him to be upfront and transparent from the start. I checked with (4) other companies and found Scott to the best priced and choice for us. I always recommend that you do your research, but having a local team do the work to me is always best.

Scott Woods and the crew did a great job with my install. From start to finish I felt like Solar Revolution was the right choice. Scott(Owner) came promptly to my home to give me a quote and answer any questions I had. A month later I signed the contract and made my initial deposit. Around a month later I received the call that the parts would arrive at my home later that week. The day they dropped off the parts the work started. By the middle of the 2nd day all 24 G10+ panels were installed with iQ8 Micro inverters. The system was powered up and I will no longer have a bill. The system seems

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
