Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Folsom. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 13 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

They are great to work with and have excellent customer service! They also do a great job of showing the behind-the-scenes, so that you can trust you are getting what they say they're providing. They are also very responsive and do an excellent job of following up and working with you from the quoting process through delivery.

I've had an outstanding experience working with Unicorn Solar. Their team is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to finding practical solutions for every stage of a project. What impressed me most was their professionalism, transparency, and willingness to work collaboratively to achieve the best outcome. They understand the complexities of renewable energy development and approach challenges with creativity, integrity, and a long-term perspective. Communication has been excellent throughout, and it's clear they value strong relationships as much as successful projects. If you'r

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“immersed in the solar industry—Robert since 2005, and Karlita since 2006. Over the…”

  • Years in business

“procurement. Unicorn Solar brings more than 21 years of solar industry experience and over…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
