Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Antioch. Across California, 784 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 29 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Never provided pictures like promised. Rags and gloves left out in front of house in street

Received a text when they were in route and when they arrived. Did not get a text they were done or a knock on the door to let us know. The hose was not reattached to the backyard Spicket and the front yard Spicket was not turned off all the way. Workers helped themselves to some oranges off my tree. I Wld have said yes if they asked but I was not given the opportunity. I was told $6 fee was only if we used credit card and let the schedule or no, I was going to pay by Venmo but I was still charged the fee on my invoice .

Solar Shine was very responsive to my concerns. Their quality service and excellent relations was refreshing! They cleaned my exterior house - water pressure - and cleaned my windows inside and out along with interior mirrors. I am very pleased with the work.

The best Solar cleaning company. I have been working with them for the past few years. They also have Window Cleaning service. I recommend them without any reservation.

Solar Shine did a great job cleaning my 16 solar panels for the right price. They are always friendly every time they come. Thanks again for a great job !!!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“More! Satisfaction Guaranteed With over 11 years in the solar industry and over 15…”

  • Insured

“success. We are a fully licensed and insured business. Joshua the founder and…”

  • Licensed

“with major success. We are a fully licensed and insured business. Joshua the…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under gutters and pressure washing.
  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Antioch is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
