Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Antioch. Across California, 674 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 34 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I am very unhappy with the service with SunRun. After talking to the project manager, and going through all the steps to see my cost savings. It wasn’t what I was promised. I am currently paying more for my bill than before I installed solar on my residences.. I was promised initially no bill cost to me except for a $20-$30 monthly fee through PG&E. I am currently paying over $200 fee to SunRun and a $400 fee for PG&E on my electric bill. This is more than what I was paying per month. I have reached out numerous times to SunRun to get clarification on the install and the cost savings due to th

Excellent service. I have a solar hot water system that is from a German company no longer doing business in the US. The team was able to diagnose the problem and isolate it to the outdoor temp sensor, and replace the sensor all within an hour.

I manage a commercial property and needed swimming pool solar heating. The installation went smoothly and the system keeps the water at perfect temperature year-round.

My pool used to be too cold to enjoy except in peak summer, but after installing pool solar, I can finally swim whenever I want. The team was professional, and they even followed up to make sure everything was working.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“of solar collectors for potential warranty issues 3. Solar Water Heating:…”
  • Family owned

“the globe, Suntrek Industries is a family run business with old fashion values.”
  • Licensed

“equipment integrator, and licensed solar contractor, we are a one-stop…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, established, years in business, better business bureau and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
