Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in Durango. Across Colorado, 19 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

DANGEROUS TO DO BUSINESS WITH because they lack attention to detail or laws behind the wheel and could possibly drive over your child in their work truck and would not care or even feel remorse but take the defensive !!!! They almost KILLED MY SON A FEW WEEKS AGO!!! I deliberated on whether I should even give them one star and honestly with the manager/owner apathy toward the situation I feel as though it is an example of their overall care... if they are unconcerned for someone's safety how will their concern be for your project? I believe them to be very self serving and unattentive to the t

1 star. Only because their company vehicles/ drivers, throughout the community and something I’ve personally experienced is getting cut off or poor attention to their surroundings, as commercial drivers I would expect to see a higher skill set than what’s notably displayed, when approaching the main office or any authoritative source here, was pretty much laughed at and told to kick rocks, Hope they make some serious changes in the future, customer service matters especially in small towns.

I have been calling around looking for a good solar system to put on my 3 bedroom house. they promised to come out to my house and take a look at everything and never showed up. i called them back and said they would send someone out in a few days. still no call, no show, i was a bit disappointed in their service. HOWEVER, i called up enchanted solar, and with a simple electric bill and some dimensions, i was able to get a darn accurate quote. and their quote beat solar works by 75 miles. save yourself some time and find a different company. not to be roastful, but i constantly see their drive

Derek and his team are wonderful! We bought a home with solar and YEARS later, the inverter started to malfunction, they came out right away. Found that we needed a new inverter, they handled all of the warranty details and installed it. Now it works perfectly. Really appreciate their attention to detail, prompt service and putting their customer first when we were not the ones who initially purchased it. Great company!

My family and I have lived off-grid in Durango for over 10 years. We have an Outback solar system with a Kohler back-up generator. Sometime in the past year we lost communication between the main hub and the generator. I called Solar Works, set up a phone call to go over settings. We couldn’t diagnose. We made a service call appointment. Derek arrived early and through a process of elimination, he diagnosed the issue. He was EXTREMELY thorough, showed me, in detail, how and what he was doing and even left me the special “tool” to fix the issue in the future! Hands down, the BEST solar company

Derek (the owner), Marcy and their crew are incredible! We ran into a wall with our electric supplier and they were amazing advocates for our needs and the good of our solar community. They are professional and show up on time when they say they will be there. Even if Derek did not stay on site all the time for installs, he was present on the job site frequently and ALWAYS available for questions... excellent communication. Our system is beautiful and functioning perfectly. They are hard-working Durango locals and we recommend them without reservation.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
