Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Palm Desert. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Palm Desert whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Stada Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Leif installed our solar panels 5 years ago and has had great follow up. He is very knowledgeable!

Family run business, experts in the field of energy equipment installation for over 15 years and you can’t beat the quality of work. We had a Tesla charger installed at our house and between the quick turnaround time (one day) and the follow up calls to make sure everything was running smoothly, I’d recommend Stada Energy to anyone! But I’m telling you, I used to work with Leif (owner) and he’s been the lead on so many massive projects in the Desert that we all would know (solar carports, hundreds of residential solar projects and commercial installations with lots of moving parts), he’s the g

Leif was great! Our ABB solar inverter stopped working and was on warranty. ABB sent a new replacement to us. Leif came out the day after we called him and installed the new inverter the next day. He was informative, helpful and very nice. We would recommend him for your solar needs.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“Proudly serving the Coachella Valley since 2016, our team of expert electricians is…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Thumbtack and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
