Its one and two star share is 10 points above the typical installer in Springfield. Across Missouri, 25 of the 114 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 26 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Customer service is almost non existent. They are quick to sell you a system but after they cash the check its like pulling teeth to get your system up and running or worked on when it does go down. If you like long holds and no answers this is the company for you.

THE BEST WAY TO GET OUT OF YOUR SOLAR CONTRACT IS TO NOT SIGN UP IN THE FIRST PLACE! Solar is NOT an investment. It's an expense! Three years into my contract my inverter went out. Sunsolar was clueless about it. One year later I finally become aware and had to make them aware. Loss of production and loss of savings. The sales rep promised me the opposite. My system generated ZERO during peak months and I called multiple times for a tech. Why am I investing my money into this? Please consider your decision prior to making such a long term agreement. SunSolar has been profiting for a year while

Company broke my siding and has refused to work with me over 8 months to fix it. Didn’t tell me when it happened, only upon inspection before they left. Given the run around for 8 months. Owner more worried about how I got his number than fixing the issue. Complete lack of customer. Tired of empty promises and no replies. Informed all sales staff let go, buyer beware.

Friendly sales visit. Responsive to email and texts. The engineer came and quickly did their checks. Waiting on next step. Quick easy process so far.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

As Google published them when we last read the listing, not a live check. Ring before you drive anywhere.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
