Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 18 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

First off, James Richards from Sunbank is a star. Before I even purchased the Sunbank, he took the time to answer many of my complex and detailed questions. I really appreciate the time he took before, and during the installation. He still continues to be helpful and I think this is one huge reason the Sunbank is great. Overall, I love the Sunbank. It feels magical to have the sun directly heat my water. I live in western North Carolina, so it can get somewhat cold here in the winters. I also live in an off-grid home with very modest electricity, so I can't use a heating element. And the Sunba

Have had the 40 gal. 15 solar tube water heater for 3 years now. I'm located in St. Petersburg Florida. I couldn't be happier with the Sun Bank Solar water heater. Most of the year I have to worry about to much hot water. If in Florida you will need to paint half of each tube silver so that you can turn the tubes over to regulate the heat. (There are other reciculation options.) Summer time i typically use 5 tubes. Winter time, all 15 tubes are in use. In three years, I have used the heating element 10x max. I do try to optimize hot water use in the winter, but do not obsess about it. The cont

I don't write reviews but I have to tell others about James from Sunbank! We got an 80 gallon solar water heater and installed it ourselves. It works very well in Southern California. The installation was a little challenging for us, but James helped every step of the way and was even available to give us advice a full year after we had purchased the unit. He was always quick to respond with a thorough and helpful answer! I wish all businesses were run like Sunbank with people like James!

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
