SunDay Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in Charlottesville whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SunDay Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Continuously cold calls (multiple in the last hour) refuses to remove my number extremely rude. Multiple fake reviews/deleted honest reviews

Dan and his crew were prompt, very friendly and thoughtful as they installed our battery. We had the remnants of the ice and snow during that time. But they always swept up the dirt that got tracked in. Their attention to that detail and the ways that they were clear about what was happening at each stage of the installation make us feel confident about the quality of their work. We highly recommend SunDay Solar!

Excellent service by Sunday Solar in Charlottesville! I liked the fact that I was able to find a local business to perform our home solar system installation. Our salesman, Philip, was prompt, professional, and responsive. We received multiple quotes from companies in northern Virginia and Sunday was competitive with the other businesses. Emma, our project coordinator, was also professional and responsive throughout the entire installation process. We wanted to ensure our project was completed ahead of a December 31 deadline, and Sunday Solar was realistic about what they could promise and com

Initially, Alicia from SunDay Solar spent a couple of hours explaining everything to us, reviewing our usage and current system, and then - just a few weeks later the panels were on the roof! Installation day was smooth and expedient. Everyone was extremely pleasant and professional! The solar panels blend in with our back roof, and definitely do not draw negative attention to the lines of the roof. What could be better than using the sun's energy to heat and cool the house, water, and everything else!! That is what I call a "win-win!"

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“needs and design. Their ten year warranty and quarterly monitoring is included.”

Its website also mentions family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
