Its one and two star share is 5 points below the typical installer in Corona. Across California, 604 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 577 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Worst experience ever after they install the solar and a new roof it’s been leaking. I’ve been dealing with this company for the past 2 1/2 months to get this resolved constant excuses management in the guy that handles the construction that in.D Answer their phone it’s been back-and-forth through email. I have all the emails saved.

***WARNING!!! Sunlux is an unprofessional, unethical, and fraudulent solar company!!! They are currently under formal investigation by the CA Contractor’s State License Board (CSLB) for multiple violations of state law, multiple violations of building codes, multiple breaches of contract, and multiple counts of fraud! My solar expert says that my Sunlux solar installation is, “the worst solar installation he has seen in over a decade”! (All he does is solar lawsuits, complaints, and solar fraud). Sunlux is also full of “professional liars”. They pretend to cooperate and address their unprofess

Don't work with them. They will tell you your old roof is fine to install solar panels on. Then when it starts leaking under the solar panels, they won't fix it. Working on taking them to small claims court currently.

This review is based on Bill our analyst we had. He was very prompt and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions even made time to meet again on screen share to go over the design again late at night. Will update again after installation is complete but based on Bill’s performance I have no doubt Sunlux will exceed my expectations. INSTALLATION UPDATE: it was a mess and a hassle with the installation, made me feel like I was dealing with a new small company trying to figure out how things work. The electrical part went smoothly but the roofers they have working for them are a joke, left

Met with Michael Valencia via a web meeting and found his expertise regarding solar to be very informative. He explained the nature of the solar business and how the federal government subsidies have changed since 1/2025 and were implemented in 6/2025. How the power providers then made their economic adjustments in the cost of wattage use and the price of buying back power from private solar customers/providers. Michael gave me a comprehensive understanding of solar from start to finish. Design variables, means, and methods of installation based on existing roof composition and a breakdown of

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
