  Panel replacement process took forever, then they forgot to turn on our system so it’s not been producing anything a month mid summer, which somehow didn’t raise any red flag to them. Impossible to get a hold of. Don’t respond timely manner, “case manager” not managing anything. Just sends an email then disappears. So over this company. I want an audit of money we are owed due to underproduction, but there is not even a support email to reach out to.   Do not buy a Sunrun Solar system. My system is five years old. It stopped functioning over five months ago. Sunrun was not monitoring it, despite their contractual obligation to do so. They never notified me that it stopped working. Their customer service is abysmal. The "live chat" is barely staffed, and the phone lines will leave you on hold for annoyingly long waits. Each time you call, they claim that they are "experiencing unusually high call volume." When you talk to an agent, they will misrepresent the situation. They are now pushing homeowners into a $79 a year "monitoring fee," even t

  They don't have actual people that can answer phones. You call and get this fake little "I'm blank on a recorded line" and it's automated. Actually insulting to try and pass that off as a person.

  Sunrun was responsible for installing my system on a new house. House was built late 2022 and last week they finally got all the doc/paper work/xcel issues handled so it can operate. Well I went to turn it on and the system was never wired into the electrical box/house. No one can tell me when / what / who / how this will be handled - everyone has to talk to someone else. Horrible year long experience - I'd use any other company. *Sunrun handled the issue, it took a week and this review, but it is handled. Thanks!

  I have had my system for about 7 years now and it has saved me a considerable amount of money relative to what I would pay otherwise. I paid off my system cost shortly after the install. The system works best on the summer months, great offset for heavy AC user. I have had my system for about 7 years, couple issues over that time that Sunrun took care of pretty quickly. I would recommend solar to anyone who gets a good deal of daily sunshine. I do not regret my investment, would do it again, electricity is not getting any cheaper.

  Sunrun was the best decision my husband and I had made! The app … It’s very easy and convenient to view my Payment or see our progress and lots of other things.
