Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in the Denver area. Across Colorado, 117 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 139 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Denver area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Denver area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Apollo Solar Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Very pushy sales folk. Told them no 16 times. “I’ll take you off my list” doesnt mean anything to them. Someone else will be calling you again and again.

This is incredibly scummy company. They send solicitation out to your home who then trespass onto your property and try to sell you on solar. If you are a serious person who is seriously considering solar for your home, why would you ever think this is the sort of information to give someone during their dinner. 0/10. Avoid any company who tries to do business in this manner.

The time it took to get something going with the job, scheduling was longer than expected. When techs arrived all went well with the exception that they were not prepared for replacing the blow fuse at the main disconnect. They didn't carry the needed part and had to come back about 10 days later. They were helpfull in answering my questions though,

More great service, 2026! Again, I was fortunate enough to have Apollo Solar Energy as my go-to solar installer. It was my misfortune to experience another failure of my DC to AC solar inverter. (Let me say up front, that the two failures were of equipment that my original solar installer used in 2022 before going under in 2024. Apollo had no culpability in either failure.) I am exceedingly fortunate that Apollo took me, and my orphaned system, under its protective wings. I learned the hard way that many companies refuse to repair systems they did not install. So, if you are considering going

Deleted my previous review as it would not let me change my star rating, so this is my updated review. Apollo did a great job on our solar panels. We had a poor experience with one of their employees, however, they made sure to handle it with the individual. They also sent a hand written apology letter, and left apology messages. Thank you Apollo for taking care of the issue.

Working with Apollo was great and I have complete faith in them! Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“replace the damaged inverter under a warranty and they repaired the loose…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
