Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in the Denver area. Across Colorado, 96 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 266 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Easy to work with and timely. The install team was great to work with. Initially we were happy with the process until we received our first united power bill and it was about half it usually was. The "sales person" indicated the plan he put together would eliminate our united power bill. We explained our situation from the start. We indicated we had an Electric Vehicle that we drive daily and our daily usage. He quoted with the EV 12 panels. After we received our first bill I contact him and he began making excuses and even saying "I have never been this far off before". He then stated we need

This company is a SHAM! I've had solar now for 10 months and my bill dropped by only $50 a month. At that rate it would take 45 years to break even on this system. The company sells you by telling you that your electricity bill could pretty much get to $0 plus a few fees and taxes each month. I have emailed and sent over my electricity bills just like they asked from the last 6 months and still no response back from Sun Power Pros. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Save your money. Response back. Yes, I did place a swimming pool in which you knew before you installed. My swimming pool was winterized in

Not great experience! Calling them is painful! They did NOTHING they promised to do when they bought our account from another company. If you make promises- follow through- I had a very painful 30 (45 if you include wait time) minute call where the lady I talked to actually made my head hurt to an extent I’m afraid I have permanent damage from the experience.

Overall good experience with solar. I will say that at $250 fee per home visit, maintenance has been the crux. Had the company out to fix some wifi connection settings so I could actually see the production per panel. Upon arrival, they identified a couple panels with issues (not the first time in the last couple years I've had to replace panels), and they ultimately charged me another $250 home visit fee since they didn't have the equipment to replace the panel while they were already on site. I understand having a home visit fee as this is a business, but for the thousands one spends on sola

Permits and installation went well. The design has enabled excellent solar generation.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Veteran owned

“for our customers and employees. Veteran Owned We are proud to be a veteran-owned…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
