Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Denver. Across Colorado, 122 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 73 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in Denver whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Upslope Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Miles with Upslope Solar is a great solar consultant to work with for any of your home solar needs! We worked with him and Suntalk Solar to install 25-panels on our home in 2018. We live in Littleton, CO and our home is ~3,000 sq ft in size. Year-around whether we are cooling with A/C or heating for winter our monthly Xcel Energy bill is never over $100/month. If solar is affordable for you, do not doubt your decision to have it installed!

Upslope did our solar and made the whole process painless. Professional crew, clean install, and they kept us in the loop through permitting and inspection. We'd use them again without hesitation.

As a newby to solar I had a great deal of learning to do. Miles, at Upslope Solar took the time to educate me on what I needed, planning the project, coordination with all the tech folks that were essential to a successful install. I had no idea how complicated this was going to be, but with Upslope Solar, I was isolated from all the detail being worked on my behalf. I highly recommend Upslope Solar. This project is now complete, way ahead of schedule and not a penny more than what was quoted. I couldn't be happier!

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What reviewers keep mentioning

  • electricity bill savings 8
  • smooth install 7
  • competitive pricing 6

  • solar pricing 3
  • no pressure sales 3
  • battery storage 2

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“of these modules has a 25-year power warranty. The aesthetic quality of the install…”
  • Years in business

“the mentorship of two colleagues with over 40 years in solar/electrical experience. I…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
