Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Vancouver. Across Washington, 50 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 38 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in Vancouver, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★45%

Each mark is one company we hold in Vancouver whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Unity Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

**Edit** The owner of the company did reach out to me personally. He was very upset to read my review, that one of his costumers had an experience like this. He was very clear that they would be working on better training and follow through with their workers. All systems are a-go as of this moment and I have no other complaints with the company. Original post: Workers didn't wire the system properly causing multiple days off work to be a available for extra work and inspections. We missed lots of good solar collection time. And they left tools behind after installation, including a work order

Their attention to detail is outstanding. From planning to installation, everything was done with care, precision, and clear communication. The system looks great and performs even better. We’re thrilled with the whole experience and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. Highly recommend!

Unity is a top-notch solar installer who does exactly what they say they are going to do when they say they will do it. They quoted several options for solar power systems and installed the one we chose. Their pricing was fair and high value when you look at what they did. The team is professional, their installations nicely completed, and they follow up. I highly recommend them as a professional supplier in a field where that is kind of rare.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“installation. INDUSTRY LEADING 25YR WARRANTY Our warranty is covered by us, not a…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
