Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Placerville area. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Placerville area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Walsh Electric is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Dave is a great communicator and worked very closely with me to find the best solution for my non-working solar inverter. He really took the time to explain options and I appreciated his patience with all my questions. Very professional and courteous, and the work he did was top notch.

Dave came through big time for me. My Tesla Powerwall stopped working and he was able to diagnose it immediately. Dave worked with Tesla and was able to get me a free replacement through Tesla. He organized the whole process including receiving the battery, delivery and installation. He was timely and great at communicating with me throughout the process. I am extremely impressed with Dave and will be recommending him to all my family and friends. Thanks Dave.

Dave installed my whole house off grid solar system. This system included batteries and an inverter with a backup generator. He did an exceptional job, and even did the grading and dirt work for the trenching and wiring. He is very experienced and I highly recommend his services! He comes on time rain or shine and does excellent work.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • Google also lists this company under electrical.
    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
