Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in El Cajon. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Wave Electric Energy did a terrific job on our house. We needed to remove our panels for a new roof. They came out and worked closely with the roofing company and seamlessly took the panels down and put them back up completing the job on schedule. The men doing the job were friendly and knowledgeable and made a few modifications to ensure our safety more efficient panel production. Thank you for a job well done!

I really enjoyed working with Josh from the first time he came over to provide the estimate until the installation was completed a few days ago. He came highly recommended by the roofing company we used to replace the underlayment on our tile roof (Weathermaster, if anyone is interested — also highly recommended). Josh and his team installed solar panels along with two Powerwall batteries. Our goal was to eliminate, or at least dramatically reduce, our need to purchase electricity from SDG&E, and thanks to Josh and his team, I feel very confident we’re going to achieve that goal. I had an outstanding experience with Wave Electric Energy from start to finish. Josh, in particular, was incredible to work with. His attention to detail really stood out—he took the time to make sure every aspect of the project was done right, and nothing was overlooked. The entire process moved quickly and efficiently. Josh and his team were always prompt, showing up when they said they would and keeping everything on schedule without cutting corners. Communication was another huge plus—I was kept informed every step of the way, and any questions I had were answered clearly and quickly. On t

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. El Cajon is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
